Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

Recently, the China Association for International Friendship and the Chinese Embassy in Brazil jointly held the event "Brazilian Influencers Discover China: Green Chinese-style Modernization" and organized a delegation of Brazilian influencers to visit Yunnan from September 23 to 26. The delegation, consisting of seven young Brazilian influencers from different fields, conducted visits and exchanges focusing on biodiversity, energy transition, and technological innovation in Kunming and Xishuangbanna.

On September 24th, Wang Yu, the full-time vice president of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association, had a work exchange with the delegation. Wang Yu briefly introduced the basic situation of Yunnan Province and the achievements of economic and social development in recent years, and had a full exchange of views on issues of interest to the delegation. She stated that Yunnan Province has a diverse range of ethnic cultures and a variety of biological resources, with an open and inclusive gene and a tradition of friendly exchanges. The cooperation with Brazil in the aspects of friendly city, agriculture, economy and trade, ecology, culture, and education is complementary. She hopes that the delegation will have a deep understanding of the real, three-dimensional, and comprehensive Yunnan through this visit, and share their experiences, feelings, and insights with more Brazilian friends, so that the world can see a green, low-carbon, innovative, and dynamic Yunnan.

The members of the delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm and friendly reception in Yunnan Province and said that the trip to Yunnan was full of surprises and fruitful. The delegation's personal visit to China to experience "There is a life called Yunnan" was of great significance to them, and it enhanced their understanding and recognition of China's social and economic development. After returning home, the delegation will use channels such as live speeches, television programs, and media networks to showcase the true face of China, publicize the development advantages of Yunnan, and promote mutual understanding and learning between the two peoples through their own traffic and influence, to be the messengers of Sino-Pakistani people-to-people friendship and to be the bridge for the development of Sino-Pakistani relations.

During the visit, the delegation inspected the Baofeng Peninsula Wetland Park, the Yunnan International Friendly Cities Photo Exhibition, the Central Factory of the Beitaixin Group, and the Kunming International Flower Auction Center. They also visited the Dai Ethnic Village in Menghan Town, the Gaozhuang Night Market, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden in Xishuangbanna, and interviewed practitioners in related fields.
