Recently, with the support of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association, the "Heart to Heart, Yunnan Journey" Cambodia Digital Television "Village to Village" project, jointly implemented by Yunnan Wireless Digital Television Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Cambodia Digital Television Co., Ltd., held a donation ceremony in the Phnom Penh District of Bai Li. The project handed over 560 sets of OTT new media platform digital set-top boxes to the local area.

The digital TV set-top boxes handed over this time can stably receive 100 live channels, including 36 Chinese channels, 24 Cambodian channels and 40 international channels. It supports Chinese, English and Cambodian interfaces and covers a variety of fields such as news, cultural topics and film and television entertainment.

Pu利·莫尼, the director of the Phnom Penh White Granary District, said that 560 sets of equipment would be scattered like seeds in communities and families in Phnom Penh, helping local people, especially those with limited access to information, to more conveniently enter the digital age and enjoy a colorful cultural life. The atmosphere at the ceremony was warm, and local people expressed their sincere gratitude and eager expectations.

Through digital television technology, the project will continue to help the achievements of China-Cambodia digital cooperation benefit the local people, open a new window to understand China, feel China and Chinese culture, promote the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations and the communication of people's hearts.

" Heart-to-Heart Yunnan Journey" is a "small but beautiful" people's livelihood public welfare project implemented by the Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Foreign Friendship in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian Ocean region. From 2022 to 2025, a total of 19 projects were implemented in Cambodia, covering infrastructure, drinking water security, medical and health care, agricultural technology, poverty alleviation, ecological environment protection, people-to-people exchanges, and other fields. It has made a contribution to deepening traditional friendship between China and Cambodia, improving people's livelihood, and jointly building a community of destiny between China and Cambodia.
