The "National Gate Youth Research Camp" was launched simultaneously in the three places.

The ceremony was held in芒shi, Dehong State, as the main venue, with branch venues in Honghe State and Xishuangbanna State, and was conducted online in a linked manner. Wang Yu, the Standing Vice President of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association, Li Qingguang, the Deputy Secretary of the Youth League of the Province, He Fei, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, Dong Qiran, the Deputy Mayor of Dehong State, and Huang Ying, the Deputy Chairman of the Yunnan Basic Foundation, attended the launch ceremony in Masi. More than 300 Vietnamese, Lao, and Myanmar youth students and Chinese students participated.
Wang Yu said that Yunnan Province is connected to Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar by mountains and rivers, and has a profound traditional friendship of "drinking the same river water and being closely linked by fate". The purpose of this study tour camp is to provide a platform for mutual learning and deepening friendship among young people of all countries. It is hoped that young friends will share their experiences, thoughts and feelings with their relatives and friends, introduce the achievements of China's reform and opening-up and the development of Yunnan, and inject youthful power into building a community of destiny in the surrounding areas. The Provincial Association for Foreign Friendship will actively support and promote friendly exchanges and cooperation at all levels and in all fields, including teenagers, and build more bridges for people-to-people exchanges, pragmatic cooperation, people-to-people exchanges and friendship among teenagers.
Li Qingguang released the " Initiative for Youth Exchange at the National Gate", calling on the youth of the four countries to firmly advocate for peaceful development, actively participate in open cooperation, continuously promote cultural mutual learning, and with mutual respect and mutual appreciation, deeply experience the "Good Neighbor Stories", actively disseminate the "Good Friendship Voices", and transform the youthful creativity into practical achievements of regional common prosperity.
Dong Qiran said that Dehong State, as an important window for China-Myanmar friendly exchanges and cooperation, has continuously carried out youth exchange activities over the years. This "Dehong China-Myanmar Youth Friendly Exchange Activity" is themed "Non-heritage Inheritance, Conversing About the Future", focusing on rural revitalization, ethnic unity, humanistic customs, and non-heritage inheritance. It allows Myanmar youth to fully experience the diverse charm and cultural heritage of Dehong, and helps the "buddha" friendship between China and Myanmar take root and sprout among the youth.Representatives of Vietnamese, Lao, and Myanmar students studying in Yunnan shared their genuine feelings and growth insights about their study and life there. They hope that this event will serve as an opportunity to deeply understand the achievements of Yunnan's economic and social development, enhance exchanges and friendly relations with youth from various countries, and truly shoulder the historical responsibility of the younger generation. They are committed to contributing their youthful strength to promoting stability and development in both countries and the region.
The "National Gate Youth Research Camp" series of activities will be held in mid-December in Dehong State, Honghe State, and Xishuangbanna State, with more than 300 young people from China, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar participating. They will carry out research and exchanges around themes such as intangible cultural heritage inheritance, red research, and green ecology, immersing themselves in the unique charm of Yunnan Province's green development, ecological livability, ethnic unity, and diversity. This is a concrete practice of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association in mobilizing multi-party forces, leveraging our province's border advantages, deepening international exchanges and cooperation among young people, and serving the construction of a community of destiny in the surrounding areas.
