The activities, starting with the red study, officially kicked off at the Zaxi Cadre Academy in Weixian County, Zhaotong City. During this period, Chinese and Vietnamese teachers and students visited the site of the Zaxi Conference and the Red Army Martyrs Cemetery, etc., in turn, through on-site visits to historical sites and listening to the red stories of revolutionary predecessors, they were influenced by the red genes in a solemn atmosphere, integrating the spirit of struggle in the years of war into their blood, and truly taking on the role of inheritors and promoters of the red culture. At the former residence of Ho Chi Minh, Chinese and Vietnamese students stood side by side, their fingertips gently touching the faded furnishings, quietly listening to those glorious past events that transcended national boundaries, and the historical resonance across time and space further narrowed the distance between the hearts of the youth of the two countries.

In addition to the red study tour, the activities are also carefully designed with a variety of segments to fully showcase the cultural heritage and development vitality of Yunnan. In the cultural experience segment, teachers and students visited the national model village for ethnic unity and progress, the provincial-level traditional village of non-heritage culture, walked through the ancient city of Zhaotong, visited historical buildings such as the Guangdong Hall, Li's Branch Hall, Shaanxi Hall, etc., participated in the experience of Miao village and making Miao sticky rice, and felt the unique charm of Yunnan's ethnic minority culture and the vitality of non-heritage inheritance in hands-on practice; from the cross-cultural art interaction of Zhaotong University to the traditional Chinese medicine experience of Kunming University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese and Vietnamese teachers and students narrowed the distance in songs and dances, and more in the process of personal experience of diagnosis and treatment, exploring the mysteries of traditional Chinese medicine, deeply felt the profound heritage and unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine.

During the development of the visit, teachers and students went to the National Fire Rescue Bureau's Water Rescue Training Base, the second largest relocation area for poverty alleviation in the country, Ma Ji Yuan, Baihe Tan Hydropower Station, Ludi County Taoyuan Ecological Park, and the Lu Mi La Potato Chip Factory of the Li Group, Yunnan Wosin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., etc.3China-Vietnam Youth Exchange Program.
