In order to strengthen project management, ensure the high-quality and efficient completion of projects this year on time, and make good plans for the projects of the new year, the Provincial Foreign Friends Association held the "Heart to Heart, Yunnan Journey" 2025 Project Work Dispatching Meeting and the 2026 Project Pre-Declaration Launch Meeting on October 16. More than 70 people from 53 units, including provincial relevant departments, Yunnan Provincial Commercial Representatives Office in relevant countries, foreign affairs offices (friendship associations) of prefectures (cities), enterprises, universities, hospitals, and social organizations, participated in the meeting online and offline. 18 project implementation units made key exchanges on the progress of the project, its characteristics and highlights, existing problems, and next steps, and other units reported one by one on the effectiveness of the project and the number of受益people.

The meeting pointed out that under the overall coordination and guidance of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association, the units have closely coordinated and taken the initiative to act, and the "Heart to Heart, Yunnan Journey" project in 2025 has many highlights, is well-colored, covers a wide range of people, and the brand influence continues to improve. The units should continue to follow the effective models such as "Front+Back" and " Prefecture-level City Foreign Affairs Office (Foreign Friends Association) + Cooperative Units", focus on improving quality and efficiency, collaborative linkage, and experience exchange, strive to improve the demonstration effect and brand effect of the project, and continuously gather the strength of people's diplomacy and promote people-to-people exchanges.

The meeting emphasized that during the sprint phase of project implementation, all units should closely monitor progress and goals, strictly manage funds, improve the efficiency of fund use, actively create project display and cultivation points, highlight the radiation and driving effect, ensure the project is delivered on time, and truly benefit the well-being of the people. It is necessary to be good at summarizing and sorting out, expanding international communication channels, and enhancing the effectiveness of international communication, promoting advanced experience, effective models, and typical cases to be replicated and promoted on a larger scale. It is necessary to focus on implementation, combine the actual needs of the people of relevant countries, solidly carry out the pre-research of project application in 2026, help national exchanges with the people, and make new and greater contributions to cooperate with the overall diplomacy of the country, support the high-level opening up of Yunnan Province and the construction of the radiation center.
