On May 24, Zhu Rui, assistant minister of the Central International Department, met with the delegation in Kunming.Zhu Rui introduced Xi Jinping's strategic thinking on poverty alleviation and development, the Communist Party of China's poverty alleviation strategy, and China's achievements and experience in poverty alleviation, emphasizing that China is willing to share its experience in poverty alleviation and development with other countries in the world.Sang Shi highly praised China's achievements in poverty eradication, saying that China's achievements in poverty reduction and anti-corruption achievements have attracted worldwide attention.China's comprehensive eradication of poverty not only benefits the Chinese people, but also has far-reaching impacts on countries around the world, especially developing countries.Among the various poverty reduction and development models in the world, China's poverty reduction strategy is more worthy of reference.The two sides also exchanged their countries' initiatives in poverty reduction and expressed their willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in poverty reduction and other fields.

On May 26, Wang Yu, the full-time vice president of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Sang Shi and his party exchanged views on further deepening friendly exchanges and cooperation between Yunnan and Thailand, and promoting the establishment of more sister city relations in suitable places.Sang Shi and members of the delegation expressed that they will actively build a bridge for friendly exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Thailand and Yunnan, and recommend Thai enterprises to seek business opportunities and invest in Yunnan.
