"Wenshan · Neighborly Harmony" 2025 Sino-Vietnamese People-to-People Exchange and Border Residents Grand Carnival Series of Activities Launched
On January 13, "Singing Friendship Songs Together, Building a Future Hand in Hand" – the series of 2025 Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange and border ethnic grand celebrations in Wenshan was launched in Malipo County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The border ethnic groups of both sides gathered together to share friendship, discuss cooperation, and plan for development.
At the launch ceremony that evening, programs such as "Happy New Year," "My Homeland Vietnam," and "China in Bloom" were presented in succession. Actors from both countries performed cultural and artistic programs with unique national characteristics on the same stage, fostering friendship through song and dance, conveying emotions through culture, and sharing the friendship between China and Vietnam.
During this series of events, there will also be meetings between Chinese and Vietnamese local government delegations, exchanges between Chinese and Vietnamese youth under the theme "Drinking from the Same River into the Future", exchanges of Chinese and Vietnamese young talents, exchanges of Chinese and Vietnamese media, business and trade matchmaking between Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises, talks on China-Vietnam connectivity, as well as a series of Chinese and Vietnamese folk Huashan Festival activities to promote consumption through New Year's shopping.
At the opening ceremony, Muli County of Wenshan Prefecture and Dongwen County of Hejiang Province, Vietnam, were established as friendly counties, and the Wenshan Youth Federation signed a strategic framework agreement for friendly exchanges with the Hejiang Provincial Youth Federation of Vietnam.
