Internal working platform of Yunnan Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

On September 15, Wang Yu, the full-time vice president of the Provincial Foreign Friends Association, met with Anubhak Baralai, the chairman of the Nepal-China Economic and Trade Association, in Kunming.

Wang Yu said that President Anubhak is an old friend of the people of Yunnan. Over the years, he has been committed to promoting friendly exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and Nepal, and has done a lot of work to promote people-to-people friendship between the two countries. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and Nepal, and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of friendly exchange and cooperation relations between the Yunnan Provincial Association for Foreign Friendship and the China-Nepal Economic and Trade Association. Over the past 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the two countries have always respected each other, trusted each other, and deepened mutually beneficial cooperation. In the past 10 years, the two organizations have jointly promoted a variety of exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, mutual participation in exhibitions, and people-to-people exchanges. The Yunnan Provincial Association for Foreign Friendship is willing to work with the China-Nepal Economic and Trade Association to build more bridges for people-to-people exchanges and pragmatic cooperation, and to contribute more Yunnan strength to the construction of a new era of China-Nepal community of destiny.

Anubh said the China-Nigeria Economic and Trade Association has been committed to promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and promoting friendship between the two peoples. Thank you to the Yunnan Provincial Association for Foreign Friends for implementing the "Heart to Heart, Yunnan Journey" people's livelihood public welfare project in Nigeria, which benefits the local people, and has been providing government scholarships to Chinese students in Nigeria for many years. It has invited Nigerian enterprises to participate in the China-South Asia Expo and the Week of Friendly City Cooperation, and has promoted mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides. The China-Nigeria Economic and Trade Association is willing to take the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two associations as an opportunity to work hand in hand with the Yunnan Provincial Association for Foreign Friends to promote people-to-people friendship and practical cooperation between the two places.
