On August 5, the "Heart-to-Heart Yunnan Tour" Overseas Communication Officer Incubation Camp opened in Kunming. The event was hosted by the Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and implemented by the Yunnan South Asia and Southeast Asia Regional International Communication Center, and will last until August 10.

This incubation camp invited Internet experts from Cambodia, Laos, the United States, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and representatives of Yunnan Province's commercial offices in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Maldives, the United States, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam to participate. Activities included welcome talks, brainstorming, talent training, team challenges, communication salons, etc., through expert lectures, practical learning, exchanges and discussions, etc., to share communication experience, conduct communication practices, and solve communication pain points.

Peng Shaoyun, Secretary-General of the Yunnan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, said at the opening ceremony that this event aims to enhance mutual understanding, deepen friendship, and provide campers from different countries with the opportunity to witness the development achievements of colorful China in an open Yunnan. He hopes that the campers will give full play to their respective strengths and advantages, explore and tell the stories of jointly building the "Belt and Road", the stories of people-to-people connectivity, and the stories of win-win cooperation, and strive to become promoters and practitioners of "people-to-people friendship and heart-to-heart connectivity."

Foreign campers believe that in the process of operating their accounts, they encountered difficulties in topic selection and technology. They need to learn how to use equipment, artificial intelligence software and other technical experience, and learn content experience such as topic selection and planning. Overseas business representatives have expressed that they hope to master more communication skills through this study, give full play to the advantages of being rooted in the local area and familiar with the local area, and tell the Chinese and Yunnan stories in an innovative way that the local people can understand.

It is reported that since 2022, more than 140 "Heart-to-Heart Yunnan Tour" livelihood public welfare projects have been implemented in 18 countries. As of the end of last year, more than 2.6 million people have benefited.
