As the oldest city in Malaysia, Malacca was selected into the World Cultural Heritage List in 2008.

History has been changing, and the past glory and disgrace, ups and downs, are hidden in the colorful multi-national buildings and ordinary alleys.

This is the common home of Malays, Chinese, Indians and other ethnic groups. Their cultures and customs are integrated and intertwined, leaving a deep imprint on the local cultural landscape and food. Walking around the ancient city of Malacca is like walking through the door of time, experiencing first-hand the six hundred years that this city has whizzed past and the peaceful urban life that returned to peace after the turmoil.

This place shows the world the beautiful scene of harmony, symbiosis, and shared beauty. It allows us to see the light of hope for a community with a shared future for mankind.

"Heart Connect Yunnan Tour" is a series of "small but beautiful" people's livelihood public welfare projects implemented by Yunnan Province in countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian Ocean Rim. Since 2022, a total of 142 projects have been implemented in 18 countries, covering infrastructure, human settlements, and other areas. Environment, agricultural science and technology and poverty alleviation demonstrations, drinking water safety, environmental protection, medical and health care, skills training, student and teaching assistants, humanitarian aid, assistance for the disabled, human flow exchanges and other fields closely related to the grassroots people provide high-quality joint construction of " Yunnan has made contributions to the Belt and Road Initiative and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the "Year of China-Malaysia Friendship". It is also the first year of the second golden decade of jointly building the "Belt and Road". At this milestone moment, the "Heart to Yunnan Trip" and "Zheng He and the Silk Road" series of short video projects sponsored by the Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and implemented by Yunnan Radio and Television Station entered Malacca, Malaysia, taking us along the journey of the great navigator Zheng He It explores the long history of cultural affinity and mutual learning between civilizations between the two countries, and displays a broad picture of mutual benefit, win-win results and people-to-people friendship between China and Maldives.
