In 2024, our province mobilized and relied on diverse private forces to implement 50 down-to-earth, gathering people's hearts and sustainable "Xin Unicom Yunnan Tour" public welfare projects for 13 countries around the Indian Ocean, mainly covering clean energy. , Drinking water safety, infrastructure, ecological and environmental protection, medical and health care, vocational skills training, agricultural science and technology and poverty reduction demonstration, education assistance, border friendly village exchanges and youth exchanges and other fields closely related to grassroots people, benefiting 67 communities and villages abroad As well as 13 primary, middle and primary schools, nearly 1.4 million people directly or indirectly beneficiaries.

The Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries closely relies on the three-dimensional work of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and friendly cities, friendly organizations, friendly villages, and friendly people. During the implementation of the annual project, new methods and models have been explored in practice, and a series of empirical results have been achieved.

Focus on enhancing the sense of gain, happiness and identity of local people, effectively solve the difficulties of local grassroots people, use Chinese technology, Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to drive the development of the surrounding areas, so that friendship, sincerity, favor and kindness to the neighbors and companions with neighbors The policy is more deeply rooted in people's hearts.

Keep telling good Chinese stories. Guide the project implementation units to tell the story of "people are dating and heart-to-heart communication" well, and enhance people of all countries' understanding and recognition of China and Yunnan.

Adhere to the wide and diverse participation subjects. Fully mobilize the civil forces and cultivate a diverse civil diplomatic team. 12 overseas business representative offices, 5 enterprises, 5 social organizations, 2 hospitals, 2 media, 2 mass organizations, 3 professional institutions and scientific research institutes, border prefectures (cities), counties (cities, A total of 40 units have worked together to gather large forces with small projects and fully release the potential of private diplomacy.

Adhere to practical cooperation among friendly cities. Actively play the role of the "dual engine" of the Friendship Association in Friendship, deepen friendly exchanges, and cultivate friendly resources. A total of 20 projects have been implemented in 11 international friendly cities in Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia and other countries to achieve mutual promotion of "friendly cities + projects".

In 2024, the "Xin Unicom Yunnan Tour" public welfare project of people's livelihood was praised by my country's embassies (consulates) abroad, the governments where the project is located, and local people, and has produced wide and positive social and economic benefits.
