On February 23, 2024, the donation ceremony for the road and fence construction project of Ban Tha Chang School in Ranong Province, Thailand, was held in Ranong Province.The Chinese representatives are Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Governor of Yunnan Province, Zhang Shijin, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government and President of the Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Wang Zhengying, Director of the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Xia Junsong, Director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Transportation, Yunnan Yang Mu, Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, Acting Second Lieutenant Kittipong Jodun, Deputy Governor of Ranong Province, Kanati Suchalun, Director of the General Office of Ranong Province, Shanya Quang, Director of the Education Development Group of the Education Affairs Office of Ranong Province Xuan and other Thai representatives, as well as representatives from project implementers and recipients attended this event.

"Heart Connect·Yunnan Tour" is a "small but beautiful" people's livelihood public welfare activity hosted by the Yunnan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries for countries surrounding Yunnan Province in China.The activities aim to consolidate the foundation of public opinion and promote people-to-people bonds.In the past five years, the "Heart Connect Yunnan Tour" public welfare project has benefited 17 countries, directly or indirectly benefiting more than 2.6 million people.

"Heart Connect·Yunnan Tour" will be implemented in Thailand in 2022. The Yunnan Provincial Commercial Representative Office in Thailand (Bangkok) serves as the project executor. In 2022, 13 vocational skills training sessions for unemployed women were held in 5 provinces in Thailand; A training program for local teachers at the Chinese Village Chinese School was held in the North; in addition, Thailand’s first Silk Road Friendship Bookstore was also completed in the same year.

In 2024, the "Heart Connect·Yunnan Trip" project will pave school roads and build school fences for Ban Tha Chang School in Ranong Province.After the completion of the project, it will not only effectively improve the school's infrastructure and help the development of the school and the community where it is located, but also lay a solid foundation for building a "heart-to-heart bridge" between the people of Yunnan Province and Ranong Province, injecting positive energy into China-Thailand relations.
