Internal working platform of Yunnan Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

From June 1 to 2, the second China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum was held in Samarkand, a famous historical and cultural city in Uzbekistan. The event is themed "Innovative development of China-Ukrainian local cooperation, high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative", strengthens all-round mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and localities, and promotes the continuous development of the China-Ukrainian comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era.

During the forum, Wang Yu, full-time vice president of the Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, held talks and exchanged with Kahramon Sariyev, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Inter-Ethnic Relations and Overseas Compatriots Committee, signed a friendly cooperation agreement on behalf of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and at the opening ceremony of the forum.

After Yunnan Province established international friendly city relations with Bukhara Prefecture, Kunming City and Bukhara City, Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries has added a "new friend" in Central Asia. Up to now, the Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries has established friendly exchanges and cooperative relations with friendly organizations from 16 countries.
