On November 28, the 12th China-South Asia International Cultural Forum with the theme of "Peace, Cooperation, Development and a Better Future" was held at Yunnan University for Nationalities.

The forum is mainly conducted offline with online participation.At the event, representatives from relevant departments, organizations, universities, and enterprises from China and India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives and other South Asian countries focused on "promoting traditional culture and jointly promoting industrial development" and "cooperating, innovating and entrepreneurship to jointly explore They exchanged speeches on the two topics of "Youth Development" and jointly released the "Kunming Initiative" of this forum.

Li Xikui, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, He Lianghui, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Bishnu Shrestha, Ambassador of Nepal to China, and Yoganathan, Acting Ambassador of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in China, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered speeches.
