While studying project management at Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Nepal's Makalu Group Chief Technology Officer, Xia Xingyun, has continuously paid attention to the possibilities of industrial integration between the two regions, and particularly values the practical experience of Yunnan in the green energy sector as a reference for Nepal's hydropower industry.

Xia Xingyun said that he looks forward to the two sides establishing a regular cooperation platform for youth industrial talents, and advancing pilot projects in fields such as smart agriculture, green energy, and sustainable infrastructure.

Earthlings Coffee WorkshopCompany founder Li Weiting is a professional coffee taster from Youcheng, Yunnan Province, and the Malaysian state of Sarawak, who has long been dedicated to improving the quality of the local Liberica coffee variety. Over the past twenty years, he has visited China multiple times, but today marks his first visit to Yunnan.

"Coffee and tea carry the cultural spirit of the East and the West respectively, and Yunnan is precisely the place where these two cultures converge and blend," said Li Weiting. He added that the recent improvement in the quality of Yunnan coffee is impressive, and he looks forward to deepening cooperation between the two regions in areas such as modern agriculture, youth exchange, cultural dialogue, and the coffee industry.
