With the support and guidance of the Yunnan Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, from August 7 to 9, 2024, Jiangcheng County, which connects three countries, welcomed 68 representatives from Qingtou Township and Lianshang Township, Mengnian County, Dien Bien Province, Vietnam, Muga Township, Mengdi County, Lai Chau Province, and Malitou Village and Youwu Village, Youwu County, Phongsali Province, Laos. They participated in the "Heart-to-Heart Yunnan Tour" China-Laos-Vietnam Border Village Heads Visit Yunnan event together with representatives from border villages such as Qushui Town, Jiangcheng County, Niulanghe Village, Menglie Town, and Mengkang Village, Kangping Town, and the event was a complete success.

Foreign representatives expressed admiration and congratulations on the progress and achievements made in various construction projects in China's border areas. They all said that they would spread what they saw and heard to their own countries and spread the skills they learned to their hometowns, so as to contribute to promoting cultural exchanges and economic development in border areas.

The activities took various forms. By organizing representatives to visit municipal construction, ancient tea industry, agricultural product processing, rural tourism, Dai brocade entrepreneurship demonstration sites, and green courtyard construction, experience traditional Chinese medicine therapy, and participate in Pu'er tea, coffee brewing, and flower arrangement skills training, etc., the leaders of towns and villages in the border areas of Laos and Vietnam and entrepreneurial youth have a more comprehensive understanding and recognition of China's rural revitalization, agricultural and rural development, and traditional culture.



Kangxi, a representative of Youwu Village, Youwu County, Laos, said that he was honored to be invited to Jiangcheng on behalf of Youwu County to visit and study with good neighbors, good comrades and good partners, and exchange experiences. He felt that it was very rewarding and meaningful. He will bring the experience he learned in China back to Laos and pass it on.

Bai Meili, a representative of Qingtou Township in Vietnam, expressed her sincere gratitude to China for its meticulous preparations and thoughtful arrangements.
