Recently, the "Xin Unicom Yunnan Tour" Cambodia's livelihood charity project was held at Hun Sen Longda Ai Middle School in Longda City, Longda Ed Chongsen, Siem Reap Province. Shi Yugang, deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Sam Lak, executive secretary of the Ministry of Land and Resources and Planning of Cambodia, Soto, deputy governor of Siem Reap Province, heads of relevant departments of Yunnan Province, Cambodia's Ministry of Land and Resources and Planning, Siem Reap Province, and representatives of teachers and students of the school attended the ceremony.

Shi Yugang pointed out that for a long time, China and Cambodia have firmly supported each other and their iron-core friendship has been continuously consolidated. Yunnan Province closely connects with Cambodia's development plan and insists on improving local people's livelihood and welfare as an important part. In the past three years, 15 "Heart Connection, Yunnan Tour" and "Small and Beautiful" projects have been implemented in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia and other places, which has brought tangible convenience to the local people and demonstrated Yunnan Province's responsibility to participate in the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Cambodia. Yunnan Province will earnestly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speech during his recent visit to Yunnan, continue to regard the “small and American” project as a priority for cooperation, and is willing to maintain close communication with Cambodia, increase implementation efforts in Cambodia, expand project areas, and expand the benefits of the project. We hope that Cambodia will continue to support this work as always, jointly provide more assistance and support for Cambodia’s economic and social development, so that the high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road” can be felt and accessible.

Samlak delivered a thank-you speech on behalf of the Cambodia side. He said that Cambodia-China's traditional friendship has a long history and under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, Cambodia-China's friendship continues to be consolidated and developed. Yunnan Province and Cambodia have a good foundation in cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture, tourism, agriculture, etc., and are an important part of the friendly relations between the two countries. In recent years, Yunnan Province has implemented a number of "small and beautiful" livelihood projects in Cambodia, effectively improving the production and living conditions of local people. Cambodia sincerely thanks China for its help and support. The projects handed over this time make Hun Sen Longda Ai Middle School the first school in the city to have fitness equipment and water purification systems. I hope Yunnan Province will continue to support Cambodia's talent training and education.

A 400-square-meter steel-structured sunshade canopy was built in the center of Ronda Ed Chongsen, and the facilities were improved to provide a better environment for local market trading activities; the Siem Reap Province Villagers' Living Infrastructure Improvement Project (Phase II), a 500-square-meter living square in Ronda Ed Chongsen City (China-Cambodia Friendship · "Small and Beautiful" Life Plaza) was built in the Hunsen Longda Ed Chongsen City at Hunsen Longda Ed Chongsen Middle School. A number of supporting equipment such as fitness equipment, lighting equipment, sand pools and rest areas have been prepared, providing high-quality public spaces integrating leisure, fitness and social interaction for all teachers and students of the school and local residents, further improving the living environment of local residents; Siem Reap Province Water Resources and Infrastructure Improvement Project (Phase III), the city's first water supply and water purification equipment was built at Hun Sen Longda Ai Middle School, effectively ensuring the drinking water safety of all teachers, students and surrounding citizens, and 33 solar street lights were installed in the city center to effectively improve the safety of local citizens' night travel.
