Internal working platform of Yunnan Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

Recently, Wang Yu, full-time vice president of the Yunnan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Keenis de Slva, president of the Sri Lanka Chinese Association, signed an agreement in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, marking the formal establishment of friendly exchanges and cooperation relations between the two sessions.

Wang Yu said that the Yunnan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is the main force in Yunnan Province to engage in civil diplomacy, and plays a coordinated and leading role in international friendly cities and civil diplomacy. He is willing to work with the Sri Lanka Association to jointly promote exchanges and cooperation among the people in various fields and deepen strategic cooperative partnerships on the basis of equality, mutual trust, mutual benefit and mutual benefit.

Ginis de Slva said that the Sri Lanka-China Association is one of the most important groups in Sri Lanka-China, and has been committed to enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples and deepening friendship between the two countries for 44 years. I hope that the signing of this agreement can build a new platform and create new opportunities for more pragmatic and friendly cooperation.

According to the content of the agreement, the two sides will promote cooperation in the fields of personnel exchanges, economy and trade, culture, sports, education, health, people's livelihood and well-being, and tourism, work together to deepen the civil friendship between Yunnan and Sri Lanka, enhance the traditional friendship between the two countries, and help build a community with a shared future between China and Sri Lanka.
