From March 19 to 20, accompanied by Yunnan Provincial Party Secretary Wang Ning and Governor Wang Yubo, Xi Jinping visited Lijiang, Kunming and other places for inspection.

He also came to the rose grading packaging production line to observe the entire process of screening, grading, packaging and delivery, and expressed his affirmation of the timely export of fresh cut flowers through logistics. Xi Jinping pointed out that Yunnan's flower industry has broad prospects, and we must focus on the entire industrial chain and continue to work hard from the seed industry, planting and market ends, so that this "beautiful industry" will become a "happy industry" that benefits the people.

The ancient city of Lijiang has a history of more than 800 years and is listed on the World Cultural Heritage List. After a spring snow, Lijiang is full of tourists. Xi Jinping came here to learn more about the history of the ancient city construction, the characteristics of Naxi folk houses, the protection and utilization of local cultural heritage, and the promotion of the integrated development of culture and tourism. Residents and tourists were very excited when they saw the General Secretary and rushed to say hello. Some even played musical instruments and sang and danced to welcome the General Secretary. Xi Jinping pointed out that promoting industrial transformation and upgrading is a key task for high-quality development. The resource endowments and basic conditions of different regions are different. We must start from reality to ensure industrial transformation and upgrading, follow economic laws, and highlight our own characteristics. Yunnan should take scientific and technological innovation as the guide to strengthen, improve and expand resource-based industries, and actively develop strategic emerging industries and future industries. We must accelerate the development of plateau characteristic agriculture and cultural tourism industries, and promote industrial value-added, enterprise efficiency increases, and people's income increases. We must actively explore the interest sharing mechanism and orderly undertake the industrial gradient transfer.

Xi Jinping stressed that Yunnan has unique location conditions and we must actively promote high-level opening up to the outside world and build a radiation center for South Asia and Southeast Asia. We must build free trade pilot zones with high quality, strengthen the construction of major channels such as transportation, logistics, energy, and digital information, so that various open platforms can become growth points for economic development. Xi Jinping pointed out that Yunnan's ecological status is important, and we must unswervingly follow the path of ecological priority and green development to build a solid ecological security barrier in southwest my country. We must improve the natural protection area system with national parks as the main body, strengthen ecosystem protection and restoration, and continue to carry out comprehensive management of stone desertification, soil erosion and small watersheds. Xi Jinping stressed that Yunnan has many ethnic groups. Xi Jinping pointed out that the leadership of the Party is the fundamental guarantee for the development of the cause.
