Recently, the "Heart Connect Yunnan Trip" Laos Vientiane Thaluang Square solar street lighting project and the Saysettha Comprehensive Development Zone Silk Road Friendship Bookstore project held handover ceremonies in Vientiane and Saysettha Comprehensive Development Zone in Laos respectively.Delegation from the Yunnan Provincial Government, Charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Laos Wang Chang, Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Laos Zhao Wenyu, and Anupa A. "Heart-Connected Yunnan Tour" is a series of "small but beautiful" public welfare and people's livelihood projects implemented by the Yunnan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in neighboring countries. Since 2022, there have been a total of 16 projects covering infrastructure, agricultural science and technology demonstrations, cultural exchanges, skills Projects such as training, biodiversity protection, and student and teaching assistance have been launched in Laos.The two projects transferred this time are jointly implemented by the Yunnan Provincial Commercial Representative Office in Laos (Vientiane) and Yunnan Provincial Construction Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd.Among them, the Tha Luang Square solar street lighting project installs 120 6.5-meter-high 60W-LED solar street lights in Tha Luang Square, effectively improving the overall image of Tha Luang Square at night and facilitating the leisure and entertainment life of local people.The Silk Road Friendship Bookstore Project of Saisettha Comprehensive Development Zone donated to Laos about 2,600 books in 11 categories in Chinese, English and Laos, covering politics, economy, society, law, education, literature, comprehensive, nature, China and Laos Food, travel and many other aspects.After it is handed over to the Laos Vientiane Special Economic Zone Management Committee for management and operation, it will benefit more enterprises and local residents in the park, continue to deepen friendly exchanges between Yunnan and Laos, and promote common development.
