The delegation visited the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor and learned about Dali's practices and experience in promoting ecological civilization construction. The delegation highly praised Dali Prefecture's achievements in biodiversity, ethnic unity, infrastructure construction, and agricultural development, and hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various fields with Dali Prefecture.

On the morning of June 3, a delegation from the Henan University of Science and Technology visited Kunming University of Science and Technology and Yunnan Normal University, and held discussions with Tang Jiahua, secretary of Kunming University of Science and Technology, and Hu Jinming, president of Yunnan Normal University, on promoting inter-school exchanges, academic research and other cooperation between Henan University of Science and Technology and the two universities.

On the afternoon of June 3, the delegation held exchanges with Yunnan Tianhua Group and Yunnan Agricultural Reclamation Group on promoting cooperation between Yunnan Province and Heda District in chemical import and export, agricultural product trade, etc.

In April 2012, Yunnan Province and Henan Province formally established friendly provincial and regional relations. Since then, the two sides have carried out many exchanges and cooperation in the fields of personnel exchanges, economy and trade, culture, forestry, etc. Yunnan Province is currently the only international friendly city in Henan Province.
