Recently, the "Heart-Connected Yunnan Tour" 2024 International Sister Cities Youth Exchange Week was held in Yunnan. More than 100 young people from more than 20 countries came to Yunnan to participate in the activities.

Among them, they come from sister cities such as Yangon Province in Myanmar, Chiang Rai Province in Thailand, Banteay Meanchey Province in Cambodia, South Chungcheong Province in South Korea, Incheon City in South Korea, Timish Province in Romania, Vladimir Oblast in Russia, and Tanous City in France. 22 teenagers visited Mengzi on October 16.

In the Bisezhai Scenic Area, the brightly colored yellow walls and red tiles, French wall clocks, and railway tracks stretching to the sky... left a deep impression on the young people in the delegation, and everyone took out their mobile phones to take photos.

Through the introduction of the scenic spot commentator, the young people in the delegation learned about the construction background and historical significance of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway and its important position in the economic and social development of Yunnan. In addition, the delegation also visited the Annan Cafe, a century-old water tower, commercial bank ruins, red clay tennis court and other special attractions in Bisezhai. Everyone said that through the on-site visit, they had a more intuitive and profound understanding of Mengzi City.

Zheng Hailin, a young man from Thailand, said: "It is our first time to come to Mengzi City. We feel that Mengzi's natural and cultural resources are very rich and the weather is very good. The culture of Bise Village is very profound. I am particularly interested in these things and I am very happy. Come here."

This event has built a bridge of cultural exchanges. By telling Chinese stories, Yunnan stories, and Mengzi stories, international teenagers can deepen their understanding of Chinese history and culture during on-site visits, and also allow more international teenagers to visit Mongolia. Since, understanding and perceiving Mengzi has injected more youthful power into building a community with a shared future for mankind.
