Internal working platform of Yunnan Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

On June 20, the 2025 Yunnan Province International Friendship City Cooperation Week was held in Kunming, with the theme of "Speaking Friendship and Promoting Cooperation" to build a bridge to communicate with the world.

Since Kunming established a friendly city with Fujisawa City, Japan in 1981, Yunnan's international friendly city work has been working for 44 years. Today, Yunnan Province has established 116 pairs of international friendly cities with 37 countries on five continents, and has also established friendly exchanges and cooperation relations with South Chungcheong Province, Incheon Hiroshima City, and Iwate Prefecture, Japan, to build a global friendly city network.

All parties have signed a number of cooperation documents involving friendly cities, medical care, agriculture, environmental protection, economic and trade investment, laying a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation. 18 projects were signed in a concentrated manner, and the total amount of 103 million yuan was ignited!
