The charm exhibition of the hometown of Flying Tiger Hump is launched to recreate the friendship between China and the United States in the war of resistance
On April 22, the "There is a kind of life called Yunnan - the charm exhibition of the hometown of Flying Tigers" guided by the Yunnan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and hosted by the Yunnan Flying Tigers Research Association was held at the Yunnan Anti-Japanese War Victory Memorial Hall in Kunming. The physical and video materials about the Flying Tigers' seal, private customized rings by US military officers and soldiers met with the public for the first time, recreating the friendship between China and the United States in the War of Resistance.
At the launching ceremony, Wang Yu, full-time vice president of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Affairs, and Zhu Junkun, president of the Yunnan Flying Tigers Research Association, delivered speeches, and Haijiang, chairman of the Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, announced the opening of the exhibition. Jia Lanhui, honorary president of the Yunnan Flying Tigers Research Association and granddaughter of General Chennard, Xu Shaoli, president of the American Flying Tiger Friendship Association, and Yu Qing, chairman of the American Flying Tiger Communication Association, sent congratulatory letters and video speeches respectively. Flying Tigers Friendship School—Kunming Foreign Language School students sang "Friendship forever" on the same stage with Xiaoxiao Orchestra.
Wang Yu said that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Fascist War and the victory of the Anti-Fascist War, this exhibition reproduces the touching story of the people of Yunnan and the Flying Tigers watching over each other and sharing weal and woe. The Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is willing to jointly carry out more folk exchange activities with the theme of Flying Tigers, and build a bridge of friendship between the people of the two countries to get to know each other and get on blind dates.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the exhibition takes historical images of Sino-US cooperation as the main theme, and is divided into three parts: "The charming elements of the hometown of Flying Tiger Hump", "The years of fighting, historical memory", and "Inheriting the spirit, friendship lasts forever". It aims to carry forward the national spirit of the Chinese people's perseverance and fighting to the end, tell the world a good story of Yunnan, and show the charm of the hometown of Flying Tiger Hump. The exhibition will be exhibited at the Victory Hall of the Anti-Japanese War from April 22 to September 3 and will be open to citizens and tourists for free.
