To deepen agricultural science and technology exchanges and continue the Paukphaw friendship, in October, when the autumn breeze blows and the sweet osmanthus fragrants, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Myanmar Modern Agricultural Technology Training Class opened in the beautiful border town of Ruili.Experts and scholars from China and Myanmar focused on the two major themes of "agricultural science and technology" and "Paukphaw friendship" to deepen cooperation.

This training project is sponsored by the Yunnan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Yunnan Non-Governmental International Friendly Exchange Foundation, and the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Hosted by the Dehong Prefecture Tropical Agricultural Sciences Research Institute of Yunnan Province, the Ruili Experimental Station of the Tropical and Subtropical Economic Crops Research Institute of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Ruili Breeding Station of the Sugarcane Research Institute of the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.Aiming to continue to promote agricultural cooperation between Yunnan and Myanmar.A total of 5 officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation of Myanmar and 23 agricultural science and technology personnel and enterprise personnel from Myanmar participated.

The training course lasts for seven days. The Chinese teachers are all experts in the fields of coffee, citrus planting, rice, banana, corn and other crops, and biological prevention and control technology of pests and diseases.
